“Fresh off our pod with Emily Dawn Long, I hope everyone’s feeling extra inspired and stoked to support small independent NYC brands. The latest hometown hero bubbling up on my personal radar is Henri, specifically their 100% merino wool polos that look like they’d be on the hand-feel matrix quadrant right next to newborn seal neckrolls and whatever premium toilet paper King Charles wipes his arse with. The blanket stitches done by hand at the cuffs and hem are an extremely sick detail that alludes to more big brain maneuvers in the brand’s near future. Honestly, the hardest part about writing this week’s dumper was choosing whether to highlight these 14-gauge fine jersey knit joints or the 100% cashmere sweater that harmonizes like 8 or 9 different stitching techniques to create a patchwork masterpiece. But guess what? This is my dumper, so I’mma feature both just cuz I feel like it. (Also to call out that model and campaign photographer and overall king Oliver is listed as 6’, which, IDK feels like a real stretch.)” - Jimmy
